スティンジ教授の報告概要：In this presentation we focus on a relatively neglected issue within the field of input-output economics, i.e. the role of primary factor scarcity. We argue that accounting for resource scarcity asks for a fundamental re-evaluation of the basic principles of input-output analysis. One example is the standard assumption that working with "average" technologies (i.e. with fixed coefficients) can capture a wide range of realistic situations. We show, contrarily, that working with this assumption can actually be quite misleading if particular constraints should be taken care of.
